News from Illinois

Hello Everybody:

Here's wishing each of you all the best in 2008. The holidays were a wonderful time. We had a chance to see some of my brothers and sisters in Hoosierland. Sue put us up at her house. We visited at Deb's and got to see Justin and Lisa's new baby. Then on to Larry's to go four-wheelin' in the snow. Saw three white tails that day. Two deer, and one riding behind Larry going over the hill down by the river.

Julie takes care of her mom, and manages the kitchen at our church. Sarah graduates from Carhage College this spring with a double major. One in Elementary Ed. and one in Church Music. She starts student teaching in a few weeks and should be teaching this fall.

I am still working lots of hours, and am glad the sale of Abbott Diagnostics to GE didn't work out. There is some other news I want to share with you. I found out Jan. 17th that I have prostate cancer. It was caught early, so with prompt and proper treatment, all should work out fine. I spoke with both Carl and Jack tonight for some uncle style advice. E-mail me if you have any questions. I am quickly becoming a research pro.

Happy New Year!!

Hi all,

I haven't checked our Fowler Clan blog for many months. Hope you all get in on the action again in 2008. It's nice to get the news from all of you.

We are all fine here. We had a wonderful Christmas gathering with the whole family. We took lots of pictures because it's so diffficult to get everyone together.

Speaking of all getting together... we are really excited about next summer's reunion. Keep us posted on all the latest plans. I hope we have a good turnout. We sure picked a great place. Tahoe is one of our favorite vacation places.

I'm typing this upstairs and Bill is watching the Charger game downstairs. The neighbors are having a big "Game Day" party. I can tell the by all the noise that the Chargers are ahead. Guess I'll join Bill for the last 15 minutes of the game.

Fowler Reunion July 2008

Hey everyone...hope you all had a great Christmas and hope the New Year is going well...Speaking of the new year....it is now January 9th and the July reunion will be here before we know it. Merry Christmas from Ohio

Hello All,

We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. We are doing well and looking forward to spending the holidays with family. We are going to my daughter's on Monday and my son and his family will be there also. Then Christmas day we will watch the children open their gifts from Santa, eat dinner, then return home tired but happy.

We are so blessed, and we know where our blessings come from. Our Lord and Saviour came to this earth to offer the gift of eternal life to all who believe in Him. I pray that includes all of you. He is definitely the "Reason for the Season"!

CALLING ALL TO HELP

HI EVERYONE. MY DAD'S PARTY WAS VERY NICE-HE REALLY ENJOYED HIMSELF. I TRULY NEED EVERY ONE'S HELP. I HAVE SOMEONE WHO REALLY IS IN NEED OF YOUR PRAYERS. I HAVE BEEN HELPING ON A BUS RUN FOR SPECIAL ED BECAUSE THERE IS A LITTLE BOY WHO HAS A LOT OF EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS AND HAS BEEN NEEDING A ONE ON ONE AIDE. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW, I AM A HEAD BUS DRIVER/SAFETY TRAINER FOR A SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT HAS APPROX. 7500 STUDENTS. HIS MOTHER IS MOST OF THE PROBLEM SHE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO DRINK WAY TOO MUCH AND IS A VERY UNSTABLE PERSON. ANYWAYS HIS NAME IS KEITH AND HE IS IN 2ND GRADE. THE BUS DRIVER, AIDE AND I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR HIM AND HIS MOTHER. I COULD USE ALL OF YOU TO HELP TOO, PLEASE REMEMBER KEITH AND HIS MOM IN YOUR PRAYERS. I KNOW THAT I'M COMING TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE. I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH HIM ON THE BUS AND SOME DAYS HAVE BEEN GOING VERY WELL, BUT ON OTHERS HE IS VERY NEGATIVE. I AM VERY LIMITED AS TO WHAT CONTACT I HAVE WITH HIM AND WHAT I CAN DO BUT, AS WE ALL KNOW, OUR GREAT AND MIGHTY LORD CAN WORK MIRACLES. THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TIME OF YEAR! WE GOT ABOUT 2 INCHES OF SNOW AND IT LOOKS SO PRETTY. MY BACK PROPERTY BORDERS A CREEK AND IT IS SO PEACEFUL. ASK ME WHAT I THINK OF SNOW AROUND JAN.-FEB. I WILL PROBABLY HAVE A DIFFERENT OUTLOOK. I HOPE YOU HAVE ALL RECUPERATED FROM THANKSGIVING. MY DAD'S BIRTHDAY IS THIS FRIDAY THE 7TH AND I AM HAVING A PARTY FOR HIM. HE WILL BE 86 AND IS IN GOOD HEALTH. HIS 2 SISTERS AND BROTHER-IN-LAW, AND COUPLE OF MY COUSINS WILL BE HERE. ALONG WITH MY SISTER. IT SHOULD BE A FUN DAY. I TOOK A VACATION DAY-I'M HAVING EVERYONE HERE FOR LUNCH. MY FAMILY IS ALL DOING GREAT. WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE END OF FEBRUARY WHEN THERESA'S BABY IS DUE. TIME IS GOING SO FAST. I THINK OF ALL OF YOU OFTEN. I MISS SEEING EVERYONE-THIS IS SUCH A NICE WAY TO STAY IN TOUCH. I REALLY ENJOY HEARING ABOUT EVERYONE. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! I HAVE TO GET BACK TO WORK.
